Summer is hot and everything is prospering! The skin and muscles are relaxed and the body is characterized by the Heart’s craving for coolness. Heat can also arise from prolonged overconsumption of heating foods or substances, over-activity or prolonged strain on all/part of our systems, prolonged exposure to hot environments, and from feelings that may have not have been resolved or expressed. In some areas of the country, humidity starts to wreck havoc on our bodies which reminds us that we are connected to our outside environment.
